Forget about me saying at risk of slapping myself on the back, because I’m just going to slap myself on the back so much, you would think I was being whipped with a belt by a gay lover. Because I’ve made at least part of the point over and over of what Bill Maher is saying here. We not only still have closet gays in America, but we have closet Socialists as well. We have Americans who say “I hate socialism, oh by the way, you even think about touching my damn Medicare, I’ll kill you”. And that is the nice version, but who do you think runs Medicare, Jesus Christ? Medicare is a socialist centralized federal government-run program that is financed through taxes that we the people pay.

But there’s even more, because we also have Americans who say they aren’t Socialists. They just speak highly of socialism and defend socialism, as if their lives or Unemployment Insurance depended on it. Sort of like the Christian fundamentalist preacher who says he hates homosexuality and that it is a sin. While at the same time he’s having affairs with men that his wife and ten kids don’t know about of course. But the difference being the closet Socialist on the Left, doesn’t have the balls to admit they are a Socialist. The person on the Right doesn’t support socialism broadly. So I’ll cut them some slack.

But the closet Socialist on the Left is a Socialist, perhaps knows they are a Socialist and just doesn’t want to admit it. Because admitting to being a Socialist in America or admiring it, is liking a man admitting he likes boys, or admitting to being a rapist or something. It is not socialism that Americans hate, but the word itself because it gets linked to communism and other leftist authoritarian ideologies. It is not that we don’t have Socialists or gay lovers of gay socialism in America. It is that we have Socialists who don’t have the balls to admit to what they are. And Americans who do not understand what socialism actually and look down at and people who actually admit they are Socialists.

Whether you want to call the lets say hard-core Left in America especially in the Democratic Party McGovernites, which is how they were labeled in the 1970s and 80s, or Progressive Caucus in the 1990s and even today, or the modern label Occupy Wall Street, these are the stuck in the closet with the door bolted down that an Army tank couldn’t knock the closet door down Socialists in America. The Bernie Sanders of this movement actually has the balls to admit he’s a Socialist and damn proud of it. But a lot of his followers don’t and go by Progressive, or what makes me want to try to ram a brick wall down with a head, I hate saying this but they some call themselves Liberals.

Source:Jeremey Richey– Hollywood Goddess and New-Left political activist Jane Fonda, on Phil Donahue in 1972, talking about President Richard Nixon and the Vietnam War.

“Jane Fonda Interviewed in 1972.”

From Jeremey Richey

Jane Fonda at her highest peak as an anti-war New-Left political activist, calling members of the American military criminals, murderers, including the President of the United States Richard Nixon and perhaps President Nixon’s predecessor Lyndon Johnson as well.

The wing of the American Left, the New Left people who are called McGovernites for their support of U.S. Senator George McGovern’s 1972 presidential campaign took over the Democratic Party in the late 1960s and early 1970s. And gave the Democratic Party a real bad name for over twenty-years.

We’re talking about people who simply don’t live on Planet Earth or at least in America (politically, at least) who believe that everything that America is supposed to stand for is somehow either imperialistic, materialistic, immoral, racist, bigoted, etc. Even though a lot of members of this political faction are urban, yuppies and some of the most successful and well-known, as well as talented and wealthy people in the world, such as Jane Fonda who is literally one of the best actresses of her generation, if not ever.

And yet the New-Left in America (Socialists and Communists) they constantly bash American capitalism and power, even though they’ve done so well with it. Even where designer material fatigues (that we’re probably made oversees) at their rallies.

Marie Marr_ Up With Steve Kornacki- ‘An Opening For Elizabeth Warren in 2016_’ _ FreeState MDSource:MSNBC– Steve Kornacki and company, talking about U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (Democrat, Massachusetts) on MSNBC.

Source:FreeState MD

“From Video.MSNBC.MSN.com. UP With Steve Kornacki. Oct 5, 2013. The New York Times’ Jonathan Martin, The Washington Post’s Jackie Kucinich and Buzzfeed’s McKay Coppins join Steve Kornacki to discuss if Elizabeth Warren’s current “moment” will translate into a 2016 presidential run.”

From Marie Howell

I buy that there is anger I guess or this feeling that we need something different on the lets call it the Far-Left in the Democratic Party or at least with the further Left Progressive-Democrats (to be nice) like Senator Elisabeth Warren whose not a Far-Leftist as much as her followers may want her to be. Senator Warren is a mainstream Progressive Democrat similar to Ted Kennedy or Sherrod Brown or Tom Harkin. She’s from the FDR/LBJ wing of the Democratic Party. Not the Michael Moore or MSNBC wing, which is very different.

Elizabeth Warren is not a McGovernite government needs to be big enough to manage people’s lives for them, because people are too stupid to that for themselves. She’s not Dennis Kucinich or Ralph Nader but a center-left Progressive to the Left of me and I’m a Liberal, who want government to do basic things. Like regulating big business especially Wall Street, but not ending business and turning them into government agencies. And when Occupy Wall Street and others on the Far-Left figure this out, by sobering up, she’ll get less of their support.

Senator Warren is not an extremist and if that is what Social Democrats in the Democratic Party want a FDR or Ted Kennedy Progressive, someone whose also pretty mainstream, then great someone like an Elisabeth Warren would go far. And give someone like a Hillary Clinton who at best is a Moderate Liberal and that may only be when she feel she needs to be. Hillary is like a political calculator. She calculates where she believes she needs to be at the time to be politically successful. Which is her main weakness and I believe something she’s going to have to get past, if she really wants to be President of the Untied States.

If Elizabeth Warren were to run as that Progressive that I’m talking about and Hillary runs as the human political calculator, my support would go to the current Senator. Because at least I would know where she is on the issues and be with her on enough things to say voting for her was a good thing. But if she were to run as a McGovernite “big central government always knows best for the people. And people are too stupid to manage their own affairs”, she’ll make Dennis Kucinich look like Ronald Reagan when it comes to presidential politics as far as political support. And bomb as badly as Rihanna at a Southern Baptist Convention.
